I’m a scientist and group leader of my research group, the Department of Molecular Probes and Prodrugs. Located in Central Europe with a global network of colleagues, I am passionate about interdisciplinary chemistry research, bringing together the global molecular imaging and chemical biology community, and scientific outreach, dissemination and communications.

My group performs cutting-edge research at the intersection of chemistry, cellular biology and molecular sensing. We perform design, synthesis and application of unique dual analyte fluorescent probes and bioluminogenic substrates to study the biochemistry of cancer in cells and animals. Fun facts

🇵🇱 I was born in Poland, but I have lived in Germany 🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷 and Australia 🇦🇺

🚙 I love driving, especially on long driving holidays. I drove 10,000 km through US National Parks over 2.5 weeks!

⚽️ I used to play for in the fifth league in Poland.

🍛 My favourite food is Katsu Chicken Curry.
